Filenexo on your desktop

A native app for Windows and Linux: the website in its own window, plus 15 conversions and three editors that work without a connection, without uploading anything.

What the app does

Online, it shows Filenexo in a native window: PDF, image, CAD, Adobe and Corel converters, PDF editor, e-signature — everything the site does, updated automatically with the site, nothing to reinstall.

Offline, it runs entirely on your computer: 15 local conversions (merge, split, extract, rotate, number and watermark a PDF, PDF → images or text, images → PDF, lighter PDF, convert and resize images, SVG → PNG, SVG → DXF, DXF → SVG) and the three editors Photo, Vector and Design. Nothing leaves your machine. Heavy conversions (Word, Excel, OCR, CMYK, CDR/AI/PSD) stay on the server.

Downloads go through your system's "Save as" dialog, and links to other sites open in your usual browser. Shortcuts: Ctrl+1 Photo, Ctrl+2 Vector, Ctrl+3 Design, Ctrl+H home.

Licence: one Filenexo Pro key (the website one) activates in the app on up to 3 computers, with a 14-day trial. It unlocks the offline editors and AI assistance (layout, image, vector drawing, rewriting), and makes conversions unlimited like on the website.

Windows SmartScreen warning

The app is not yet signed with a code-signing certificate: on first launch Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click "More info", then "Run anyway". You can verify the file by comparing its SHA-256 checksum with the one shown here (PowerShell: Get-FileHash Filenexo-…exe).

On Linux

Make the file executable (right-click → Properties → Allow executing, or "chmod +x Filenexo-…AppImage"), then run it. If your distribution has no FUSE, run it with "--appimage-extract-and-run".

Privacy

The app has no telemetry and no account: it sends the server only what you convert, exactly like the website. Web content never gets access to your file system (context isolation, Chromium sandbox).
