Terms of sale and use

1. Purpose

These terms govern use of the Filenexo service, available at https://www.filenexo.com, which provides online tools for converting, editing and processing files.

2. Publisher

The service is published by Cheker Hadded, sole trader, operating the Filenexo and Carbnest websites, whose address is Tunis 1020, Tunisia. Contact : contact@filenexo.com.

3. Plans and prices

A free tier is available, capped at a number of jobs per day. Paid plans are described on the Pricing page. Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The VAT applied is that of the buyer's country of residence. Pricing.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as merchant of record for the service. Paddle issues the invoice and collects and remits VAT. No card data is handled or stored by Filenexo.

5. Term, renewal and cancellation

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Paddle customer portal (the link is in your purchase confirmation email) or simply by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. The 48-hour pass is a one-off purchase and never renews.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

Consumers in the European Union have fourteen days to exercise their right of withdrawal. By requesting immediate access to the service, the user acknowledges that performance begins before that period ends. Filenexo nonetheless applies a voluntary fourteen-day refund policy on written request.

7. Permitted use

Users warrant that they hold the rights required over the files they upload. The following are prohibited in particular: circumventing technical protection measures, removing watermarks from works the user does not hold the rights to, and any automated use intended to overload the service.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided without any guarantee of continuous availability. Filenexo cannot be held liable for the loss of files: users remain responsible for keeping their own backups of original documents. In any event, the publisher's liability is limited to the amount paid over the preceding twelve months.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge, as well as the European online dispute resolution platform.
