Filenexo Vector: draw in millimetres, export for the machine
A vector editor written by Filenexo for the workshop: the document is in millimetres end to end, and DXF, PDF or EPS come out at exact scale, in one click.
🔒 This editor runs entirely in your browser: your images never leave your device.
Tools: selection, direct node selection, pen (Bézier), pencil, rounded rectangle, ellipse, polygon, star, line, text, eyedropper, measure. Operations: unite, subtract, intersect, exclude, divide, path offset, outline stroke, simplify, text converted to paths (10 bundled open fonts), text on path, clipping mask, gradients, dashed strokes, align and distribute, numeric transform, grid, rulers, guides and snapping, layers, multiple artboards, unlimited history, Illustrator shortcuts (V, A, P, M, L, T…). The AI menu generates a drawing from a description, inserted as an editable group.
Opens SVG, DXF, images (built-in tracing) and, through the server, AI, EPS, PDF and CDR. Exports SVG (unit = mm), DXF R12 polylines for laser, plasma, waterjet and CNC, or R2000 splines for AutoCAD and Fusion, vector PDF with native CMYK, PDF-compatible AI, PostScript EPS, PNG at any resolution, and the .fxv project to resume later.
What it is not: Illustrator. No blends or mesh gradients, no art brushes, no ICC profiles, no long multi-page layout, and AI import goes through a server conversion. For a logo, a sign, a plate, a pictogram or a cutting outline it does the job with clean files; for complex editorial illustration, it does not.
