Under the hood, the work is done by libvips, which streams images instead of loading them entirely into memory, with current-generation WebP and AVIF encoding. Processing avoids any needless loss: quality is only degraded if you explicitly ask for it.
Your files are processed on our European servers and then wiped automatically: they are never read, never kept, and never reused to train anything.

Frequently asked questions
WebP or AVIF: which should I choose?
AVIF compresses better, often 20 to 30% smaller than WebP at equal quality, but it takes longer to encode and a few old browsers still ignore it. WebP is the safe choice for a general-audience site; AVIF suits a site whose audience you know.
How many images can I process at once?
Up to 50 per batch. The result comes back as a ZIP archive, along with a file-by-file breakdown of the savings.
Do you keep my files?
No. They are deleted automatically from our servers shortly after processing, along with the output file and the download link.
Do I need an account?
No, the tool works right away. An account is only needed to lift the daily limits.
Does the result carry a watermark?
