Frequently asked questions
At what quality level does the loss become visible?
Below 60 on a detailed photo, artifacts show up in flat areas and around strong contrasts. Between 75 and 85, the difference is hard to see.
Can I compress with no loss at all?
Not in JPEG, which is a lossy format by design. Choose PNG or WebP in lossless mode through the web optimization tool.
Do I need an account?

Does the result carry a watermark?
